The role of the PAC is to foster relationships with legislators to educate them regarding bills that are important to administrators, supervisors, and in general, education. At the present time, Tony Laurino is the PAC representative.

What We Are Lobbying For

• Continuance of tenure for administrators
• Additional pension in accordance to a longer work year
• Out-of-state and private school pension credit
• Dropping the ITHP time to 15 years

All bills will have to work their way through the normal legislative process, but we must all be active in lining up legislators to support our causes. The Political Action Committee is our entryway to the legislative process, but cannot accomplish anything without funds. Therefore, we are asking each CAS member to make a donation either through a personal check sent to our office or submitting a Payroll Deduction Form (PDF) to your district's payroll department.
